1.6/5 - Terrible VPS and Rude / Condescending Chief Technology Officer
Reviewed by Mike on the 9th of September 2021 at 14:54:13 (UTC)
NextArray is responsive with their support, so I will give them that.
However, their VPS CPUs are running on Intel Xeon E5-2650 @ 2.0 GHz ( https://ibb.co/qRNxC7h ). Expect a slow VPS for all of your needs.
I asked for a refund and they gave me the runaround, refusing to issue a refund and only credit. They offered other sub-par services they offer.
After much back and forth, they finally issued a full refund, but not without sending harassing text messages to my phone ( https://ibb.co/XFmnwZg & https://ibb.co/bbqqxFP ).
See screenshots for all of this and the conversation.
Conversation:
Message from Richard Adams - Chief Technology Officer: "I appreciate your feedback but we typically don't provide refunds when a user only complaints about the performance due to it not meeting the needs of their application. These VPS aren't built to run Minecraft servers as we own a gaming company built for MC hosting specifically which requires different hardware and specs. Also, any hosting company that you decide to go with won't take kindly to insults etc. when you are running a modified anything. I wish you luck in college and on your hunt for a new provider. "

4.8/5 - Reliable colocation and dedicated server provider
Reviewed by Nik Rozman (AccurateNode LLC) on the 18th of June 2020 at 21:45:25 (UTC)
NextArray piqued our interest with their Dallas colocation plans, but we couldn't help but notice their dedicated server offers too. After a week or so, we decided to take one of their top-notch servers, namely the PDS-Ops-4. We also wanted that server to come with additional storage and RAM so the set-up time would be a bit longer than usual, but they still delivered it before the date they gave us as an estimate. Servers come delivered with full root access and unmetered uplinks.
So far we haven't had a single outage, not even for a minute. There was one occasion where the server got DDoS attacked, but even after checking on our monitoring software, the server didn't drop a single packet during the attack.
Overall I would say they are perfect for any small business, startup, corporation etc...
The only thing I would improve about them is support, but as I was told, they are working on it so I'm sure it'll improve in the near future.
