It's rare that I find providers that are able to offer low cost yet reliable and snappy boxes. RamNode is one of the exceptions -- I've had my 128MB SVZ since the 5th of May, 2017, and there has only been 3 incidents thus far (2 of which were the fault of Intel.)

The performance is great for the price (the box sports a single, shared core of an Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3 @ 3.4GHz.) In terms of my use case, I've been using it as a VPN box and it has been up when and where I needed it.

Lastly, their support -- I've only had the need to contact their team a few times, but in those moments I've received responses in as little as 7 minutes.

Overall, they're a dependable, cost effective solution great for many projects. I give them a solid 100%.

RamNode has been my server provider for nearly five years. The uptime has always stayed at 99.9%, with nodes being rebooted only to patch critical vulnerabilities, about which I've always been notified ahead of time. Very very rarely you might encounter issues with connectivity - these are reported on Twitter under @NodeStatus and resolved as soon as possible. The customer service has been one of the best I've ever encountered, and no matter which obstacles I had to get through, they could always provide professional technical assistance.

+ Downtime is rare; I can only remember brief restarts once or twice per year.
+ Fast setup. Solid performance.

- No support for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS almost a year after releasing.
- Knowledgebase is limited; I usually visit DigitalOcean's documentation for help.
